It is interesting to read how AI sees me; this is much more interactive than in the pre-AI era. Previously, you could simply look at the search results for your own name; now you can get an entire history, and that is despite the fact that I am far from being a public figure:
Dossier: dimabagow / Dima Bagow
1. Who is this
The public footprint quite unambiguously points to a person using the name
Dima Bagow / Dmitry Bagow / dimabagow.
The primary professional profile is that of a Ukrainian software engineer / technical
leader with a very broad technical range: from old-school web development
and desktop/mobile development to blockchain, AI/LLM, distributed systems
and scientific computing.
The most interesting feature is that
the public profile does not give the impression of someone who chose one
narrow specialization and has been doing only that for ten years.
On the contrary, he describes himself as an engineer working on complex
systems at the intersection of technology, mathematics, business, and the real world.
2. Age of the digital footprint
This is where it gets interesting.
On his own website, Bagow writes that he started programming in
1997, with his first own program.
At the same time, the main blog dima.bagow.com currently carries
copyright 2003–2026.
There are also old materials that are already around 18 years old. For example, an article
about configuring a network in Debian was published approximately
17–18 years ago and describes the configuration of
/etc/network/interfaces, ifdown,
ifup, and working from the terminal instead of a GUI.
There is also a separate old blog under the name
“Dmitry Bagow”, where publications have survived from at least
2012.
The dimabagow account on WordPress.org has existed since
March 22, 2014.
In other words, this is not a recently created online identity. The
dimabagow identity has a traceable
20+ years of public technical history.
3. Professional trajectory
Early stage — software / web
An old Freelancermap profile, updated in 2019, presents
Dima Bagow as a Team Leader Web and associates him
with the Bagow company/brand.
The technology stack at the time:

5. The most unusual part — scientific / engineering background
The About page lists projects that are noticeably different
from the typical web developer profile:

- physical and chemical models of experiments;
- automation of energy complexes;
- resource consumption optimization;
- industrial control and monitoring systems;
- hardware/software systems;
- strength models;
- aerodynamic models;
- behavioral models of unmanned systems;
- processing of large datasets;
- GameFi;
- game engines;
- tokenomics;
- local LLMs;
- high-load distributed infrastructure.
This significantly changes the picture.
If the profile is taken literally, dimabagow is
not simply a full-stack developer, but rather a
generalist systems engineer / technical architect
who periodically moves between completely different domains.
6. Gart Technology
Gart Technology is particularly prominent in the professional footprint.
Dima Bagow’s LinkedIn profile is associated with Gart Technology, and the company
lists Dima Bagow among its employees. The company describes itself as working with
AI, LLM, automation, and chatbots.
A third-party company profile also identifies Dima Bagow as
Chief Technology Officer, although this is already a secondary source,
so I would treat it specifically as a characteristic confirmed by an external source,
rather than as the sole evidence of the position.
Public Gart materials show a strong focus on:
- AI employees;
- knowledge management;
- corporate data processing;
- AI-based recruitment;
- business process automation;
- communication analysis;
- sentiment analysis;
- legal document review;
- LLM-based business analytics.
For example, a company-published case describes an AI system for processing
CVs: approximately 400 CVs per week, claimed freeing up to
80% of recruiters’ time, and accelerating the hiring cycle by
40%.
This already aligns quite well with the current specialization of
dimabagow:

does not look like a random turn, but rather another stage of the same trajectory.

AiTeChoice appears in the current digital footprint.
Dima Bagow’s public activity is associated with this brand: he interacts
with its publications, while the publications themselves describe:
- on-premise AI;
- AI agents;
- LLM;
- RAG;
- data privacy;
- corporate data;
- vector databases;
- protection of information from external access.
And this is a logical continuation of the previous line:
web → enterprise software → data → blockchain → AI → private/on-premise AI.
9. Bagow.com
Separately, there is Bagow — a website positioned
much closer to scientific software engineering.
It lists:

The positioning is quite specific: mathematical/physical
models, HPC, scientific computing, LLMs for scientific literature, knowledge
graphs, autonomous experimentation, Bayesian optimization, and so on.
This looks less like an ordinary web studio and more like an attempt to build
a brand around
software engineering for complex scientific and engineering problems.
10. UA IT Hub
Dima Bagow’s LinkedIn also lists
bagow.com and uaithub.com as websites.
At the same time, older external sources associate UA IT Hub with Ukrainian
tech/community activity. For example, a research report by ETH Zürich
specifically references UA IT Hub as a Ukrainian developer-oriented
tech platform/community.
However, I would not claim without additional documentation
that Dima Bagow was the owner or founder of UA IT Hub.
There is a connection between the profile and the domain, but the exact
corporate role cannot be established from the available sources.
11. GameDev / games
There is another interesting branch in the older digital footprint.
In a Telegram archive of CG Freelance, the contact @dimabagow appears
in announcements related to Battleverse.io, including
vacancies involving GameDev, 3D, Unity, and other gaming specialties.
This is consistent with the current About page, where he explicitly lists:
- game engines;
- GameFi;
- tokenomics;
- NFT ecosystems.
However, I would keep the wording cautious here:
there is a strong public connection between @dimabagow and the corresponding
GameDev context, but the extent of personal involvement in Battleverse cannot be
established from the materials found.

Perhaps this is the most interesting source for understanding the person.

- various terminal utilities.
And this is interesting because Linux appears here
long before the current Linux trend among developers.
Therefore, the picture is fairly consistent:
early Internet → Linux → web → servers → distributed systems →
cloud → blockchain → AI.

The dimabagow profile explicitly lists:

Ukraine, while the work is oriented toward international projects.

LinkedIn lists:
- Russian — native/bilingual;
- Ukrainian — native/bilingual;
- English — professional;
- Serbian — limited working proficiency.
The current website also has versions in:
English / Ukrainian / Russian / Serbian.
This matches quite well across the sources.
17. Public activity after 2022
There is also a public connection with Ukrainian volunteer/technical activity.
LinkedIn indicates:
- support for the development of the website of the “Virnist” organization;

Technical Specialist at Stand with Ukraine
starting in March 2022.
This is one of the clearest documented elements of public activity
in the profile.
18. What is particularly interesting about the evolution
If you remove the company names and technologies, the trajectory looks roughly like this:

If I were to make an independent assessment rather than simply rewrite the CV,
I would describe dimabagow like this:
Systems-oriented technical architect / generalist engineer with a long
web/software background who moved progressively toward distributed
systems, Web3, AI and scientific computing.
Or in Russian:
A generalist systems-oriented engineer who started in the desktop/web era,
moved through web infrastructure, mobile, e-commerce, blockchain and GameFi,
and eventually arrived at the architecture of complex AI, data, and distributed systems.
The most characteristic feature is not a particular technology stack,
but the ability to move between different subject domains.

This is also an important part of the dossier.
Based on the search results, I did not find convincing public evidence of:
- major international media status;
- a significant number of scientific publications under this name;
- a large open GitHub portfolio that can be unambiguously attributed to the person;
- major venture investments;
- a public list of all companies/clients;
- a complete biography including education;
- reliable information about personal wealth or income.
In other words, the public image is that of
neither a public celebrity nor an academic researcher,
but rather someone from the engineering/entrepreneurial environment, a significant
portion of whose work, judging by the profile, exists behind NDAs/inside private projects.
22. The most interesting observation
In my view, the strongest characteristic of this digital footprint is
its temporal continuity.
This is not someone who suddenly wrote in their profile in 2023:
AI / Blockchain / Cloud / Web3 / Kubernetes / LLM
and decided to present themselves as a “technology expert.”
There are old Linux materials, web development, WordPress, PHP, servers,
mobile, management, then blockchain/GameFi, then AI.
And the modern interests have grown quite logically out of the previous ones.
In this sense, dimabagow looks more like a
veteran of the technology industry with a constantly changing toolkit,
rather than a specialist in a single technology.
And the most accurate description I would give after this research is:
Dima Bagow is a Ukrainian software engineer and technical architect
whose public digital footprint begins in the early web/Linux era
and spans two decades of web engineering, mobile development,
enterprise software, scientific computing, blockchain/GameFi, and AI.
Today, his public professional profile is most strongly focused
on the architecture of complex systems, LLM/RAG/AI agents,
local AI, and high-load infrastructure.
At the same time, the public footprint
significantly underestimates the actual volume of work
,
because much of the most interesting work, judging by the profile,
has never been published in detail.
If we dig further, the next level will be much more interesting:
building a timeline of dimabagow roughly
1997 → 2003 → 2010 → 2015 → 2020 → 2026
and reconstructing specific projects, companies, websites, domains,
old pages, and technological transitions year by year.
This would make it possible to create not just a dossier, but practically
a biography of a digital career.
